Product Description
New Release!
M
Lab MPEG-2 HDTV
Decoder
3.6 software package is Microsoft
DirectShow-compliant components for real-time decoding
high quality, full resolution MPEG-2 and HDTV on
Microsoft Windows based PC. All the components can be
invoked automatically by Windows Media Player, or
seamlessly integrated into DirectShow filter graph based
application through DirectShow COM Interface.
DXVA enabled M Lab MPEG-2
HDTV
Decoder is the most CPU
efficient, high-performance decoder with superior
picture quality and broadest format support in the
software MPEG-2/HD decoder market. In addition to the
standard features, it also incorporates the
important streaming features such as Enhanced Error
Resilient, Auto Resynchronization, and thus provides
high reliability for the HDTV broadcast and satellite
environment.
Standard Features
-
Software only real-time MPEG-2 (bit-rate up to 80 Mbps)
playback without special hardware;
-
DXVA hardware acceleration support: providing
significant performance gain;
-
Microsoft DirectShow compliance: proving the standard
way to integrate into application or being invoked
automatically by Windows Media Player.
-
High definition video playback/decoding;
-
Non-square pixel aspect ratio display: 4:3 for narrow
screen and 16:9 for wide screen;
-
Frame accuracy seeking;
-
2:3 pull-down: the technique used to convert 24
pictures/s movies to 30 frame/s video. It is widely
used in DVD video content.
Exclusive Feature
-
Auto adoptive de-interlace algorithm: analyzing
individual frame to choose the best de-interlace
algorithm to provide the smooth image without losing
the sharpness.
-
Line21 output: providing the closed caption data for
video application, i.e. DVD, HDTV;
-
Color control for brightness, contrast, color saturation
and color degree;
-
De-blocking process: eliminate the edge artifacts;
-
SSE2 optimized full resolution double precision IDCT:
for verifying the reference IDCT algorithm.
-
COM interface accessible for OEM developer for fine
control.
Streaming Features
-
Both pull and push mode support;
-
Dynamic stream format change support: used by HDTV
application during channel switch;
-
Enhanced error resilience: recover playback from
corrupted stream;
-
Automatic resynchronization of the out of sync stream.
